Use OID honestly, lawfully and within your authority.
These terms describe the current pilot rules for the Onsellr ID vehicle network. Commercial launch terms require final review by qualified Australian counsel.
Using the platform
You must provide accurate information, protect your account and use OID only for lawful purposes. You must not claim, control, transfer or contribute to a vehicle record unless you have the relevant relationship, authority and evidence.
What an OID is—and is not
An OID is a network identity and record. It is not government registration, legal title, proof of ownership, a roadworthiness certificate, a PPSR certificate, a valuation or a guarantee that every event affecting a vehicle has been captured.
Records and verification
Records identify their source and verification state. You remain responsible for independent inspections, PPSR searches, registration checks and professional advice appropriate to a transaction. OID may correct labels, restrict disputed content or preserve an audit entry while a claim is reviewed.
Agents and regulated services
Agents operate within declared scopes and disclosures. Sales conversations and automated negotiation outcomes are non-binding unless completed through an authorised acceptance process. Finance, insurance and warranty information is not an approval, quote or regulated recommendation unless an appropriately authorised provider expressly says so.
Transfers and permissions
Transferring OID control changes who may manage the network record; it does not itself transfer legal ownership. Connected-service permissions may pause during a transfer and must remain visible and revocable where required.
Prohibited conduct
You must not submit fraudulent evidence, scrape restricted data, probe security controls, impersonate another participant, misuse credentials, introduce malicious code, evade limits or use an OID to mislead a buyer, seller or service provider.
Availability and suspension
OID may restrict an account, credential, agent or record connection to protect people, vehicle data or the network. Pilot services may change and can experience interruptions. We aim to preserve auditability and provide a safe recovery path, but uninterrupted availability is not promised.
Responsibility
To the extent permitted by law, OID is responsible only for losses directly caused by a failure for which liability cannot be excluded or limited. Nothing in these terms excludes rights or remedies that apply under Australian consumer or privacy law.
